Voice infrastructure

Telepath is the fast connectivity layer and standard for how AI voice agents connect to the world.

Bridge SIP carriers to real-time AI voice agents. Telepath Edge handles transport, Turn Engine controls conversation flow, and Analytics gives you full call-path visibility.

What Telepath is

Transport and observability between your carrier and your AI voice agent.

Telepath sits between your phone carrier and your AI agent so conversations stay responsive and incidents are diagnosable. It terminates SIP and RTP from the carrier, adds ~12ms gateway processing, and exposes call-level evidence when quality or latency issues appear.

Carrier Optimization

Proof

Real call artifacts, not abstract claims.

Telepath records the artifacts engineers actually need during rollout and debugging: SIP traces, call setup timing, packet metrics, gateway timing, and AI response timing.

Observability

Three layers. One measurable transport boundary.

Telepath is composed of Edge, Turn Engine, and Analytics—each with a precise role in how a call is routed, processed, and observed.

Telepath Edge

The real-time bridge between carriers and AI voice agents.

  • Connects to your SIP carrier for inbound and outbound calling
  • Bridges live audio between PSTN and AI in milliseconds
  • Normalizes telephony audio into AI-friendly streams and back
  • Handles SIP call control (setup, answer, teardown, retries/failures)
  • Supports BYOC so you keep your carrier relationships

Telepath Turn Engine

The conversation control layer that makes calls feel natural.

  • Detects and manages who has the floor in real time
  • Enables interruption-aware behavior (barge-in) so users can cut in naturally
  • Coordinates turn timing to reduce awkward pauses and overlaps
  • Smooths real-world audio conditions (jitter, loss, noisy edges)
  • Applies consistent turn behavior across providers and models

Telepath Analytics

The observability layer for call quality and operational confidence.

  • Per-call visibility into responsiveness and conversation flow
  • Network quality insight (latency, jitter, packet loss, quality indicators)
  • SIP-level traceability for debugging signaling and routing issues
  • Unified call timeline for faster incident diagnosis
  • Trend-level reporting to improve reliability, CX, and cost outcomes

Why Telepath

Compare Telepath against CPaaS lock-in, orchestration-heavy stacks, and DIY SBC glue. The difference is simpler transport, better diagnostics, and clearer ownership.

Capability Telepath Alternative
Carrier flexibility Bring your own SIP carrier and preserve carrier relationships. Often tied to a specific network path or custom ops work.
Media acceleration Expedite transport and transcoding with adaptive packet handling to the AI agent. Often left to custom glue or provider-specific assumptions.
Call diagnostics SIP traces, packet stats, gateway timing, and AI response timing. Usually lighter analytics or DIY instrumentation.
Product scope Transport and observability, not carrier or model hosting. Often bundles more abstraction or pushes transport work back on the customer.

Get started

Bring your carrier. Connect your agent. Inspect the call path.

Telepath is built for teams already running or piloting AI voice on the phone network. Share your carrier, agent stack, and expected volume. We’ll scope the connection path and rollout requirements.
